“ I love this place!!! Every bagel sandwich I've had is delicious!!! I got the Club New York on an everything bagel this time and it was SO GOOD! I also like the New Yorker, Chicken Salad and Bambino. Every time I go the people who work there are so kind and friendly. This is my go to place for bagels in BR ”
“ I Love this place for a quick lunch. The Met is my favorite. Service is always quick and friendly. ”
“ What a fantastic secret gem: Wonderful folks, great selection and absolutely yummy bagels. Their quality is as good as I have had, if not better then in New York itself. ”
“ The bagels here are chewy and soft which makes them easier to savor than those hard-boiled things some bagel joints peddle. The sandwich options here are endless! Plus you can have it your way if you're picky. Coffee was hot and smooth. Service was quick on a weekday morning. I saw four people laboring in that tiny kitchen! The dining room is a little dingy but clean. ”
“ Sandwich was great and the bagels were so good we got a dozen to take home with us. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back. ”
“ This was my first time at this New York Bagel location! My roommates and I heard the location on Lee was moving closed because it is moving closer to LSU campus on highland but we needed our bagel fix! The breakfast bagels are very good but I find sometimes I want more food and the lunch sandwich bagels are usually filled a bit more. I still have to branch out and try more of the sandwiches but if you like Dijon mustard, I definitely recommend the Tavern on the Green sandwich! The employees were very kind and the service was fast. ”
“ I have to start this off by saying that I will not compare these bagels to New York/New Jersey bagels, I get the name of the business, however living in this area and having bagels around the country I feel like most places cannot compete. However the bagels here were very good, I was staying at the Renaissance hotel locally and the breakfast there was $15 a person, and I just wanted something small to eat in the morning before going out for the day. I found this place on Yelp and figured it was worth a shot and made a short drive from the hotel to here. The place was not that busy there was one other person in the store and I had ordered two bagels and an avocado toast. I thought the bagels were great and found I was surprised how good they were. The avocado toast was some avocado spread mashed across two halves of a bagel and I found that a great addition to my breakfast. The girl behind the counter was very friendly and all in all I think this is a pretty good place to stop at if you need a quick breakfast bite and are in the area. ”
“ This Perkins Road location of New York Bagel is a little smaller than the Lee Drive and Jefferson Highway stores, but they have the same great bagels, pizzas, sandwiches, and salads! This location does have a drive through, which can be very handy. The main article is of course the bagels, which are the best in Baton Rouge. These can be had alone, in bulk, or in a variety of New York themed bagel sandwiches. Sandwiches come with a side of bagel chips, a little cream cheese to dip them in, and a pickle spear. This is an ideal lunch! The sandwich menu also includes Phillies, Reubens, and Muffalettas. They also are known for their cream cheeses. These include the most popular Garden Veggie, but the Smoked Salmon is an excellent choice too. For a change of pace, try the Pecan Delight, which is slightly sweet. ”
